Summer in Vancouver As the warm sun of summer shines above Vancouver, the city lights up with its dozens of summer festivals and special events! The Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Abbotsford International Air Show, the Caribbean Days Festival, Crankworx Mountain Bike Festival in Whistler, the Annual Pride Parade, HSBC Celebration of Light fireworks competition, the Fair at the PNE, Tour de White Rock, or go to the Rocky Mountains for sightseeing or hiking, go to Tofino for surfing!

Fall in Vancouver Fall is a time of stunning colors and long, relaxing walks in the cooler autumn weather! Visit the VIFF (The Vancouver International Film Festival), Car Collector Show, Wine Festival, Bard on the Beach, Vancouver Fringe Festival. Participate in the Terry Fox Run. Celebrate Halloween in Vancouver at the many special events. Enjoy ice skating, the NHL Hockey season and the CFL Football season. Go Canucks & Lions Go!

Winter in Vancouver
Winter in Vancouver is filled with so many exciting activities! Enjoy winter sports at the local mountains (Day & Night Skiing, Snowboarding, Snowshoeing, Snow Tubing). Whistler Blackcomb is one of the best ski resorts in North America. Check out the Festival of Lights at Van Dusen Gardens, the Ice Wine Festival, Bright Nights in Stanley Park. In the Christmas Season - watch the 6th Annual Santa Claus Parade. In the new year, check out the Chinese New Year Festival, NHL Hockey season, Capilano Suspension Bridge, Valentine's Day, Motorcycle Show, Polar Bear Swim on January 1st (crazy!).

Thank you good teachers, I was able to get a satisfactory score and improve my conversation ability not only that but I could get a lot of friends as well. Talking about other countries' cultures and customs with them was really interesting and that widened my horizons, I was able to get a lot of valuable experience in Vancouver in this last 6 months.
