GEOS Vancouver offers an Intensive CEP English course for those students wishing to study even more seriously. During the morning and the afternoon the students will joint the Full-Time CEP and after 16:15 they will join an elective course available at that time, such as Power Speaking, Listening & Pronunciation, writing, Business Communication or others.
INTEGRATED SKILLS CLASS - AM During the morning session, students study four English skills - reading, writing, speaking and listening - through a “Communicative Language Teaching” methodology. New grammar patterns are learned in the context of a conversation or a real-life situation. Students also use various activities to practice English conversation including listening tasks, role plays, and discussions. Practical reading and writing tasks and vocabulary studies are presented as well in our 6 available levels. Students can begin on any Monday.
ACTIVE LISTENING CLASS - PM During the afternoon session, students will cover a variety of topics while practicing English conversation management, North American conversational styles, and pronunciation. Students learn commonly-used idioms and slang in a communicative way. Teachers also use various activities to practice these new idioms including listening tasks, role play, and discussion.

![]() Hi, my name is Julieta. I'm from Switzerland and I'm 19 years old. I've been here since three months ago and I'm really sad to leave Vancouver and the GEOS Vancouver School. When I came here, I didn't speak English because I haven't learned it at school before. I was kind of afraid to discover another country alone and without speaking the language... But everyone was friendly and very patient with me. I really enjoyed my TOEFL class and my TOEFL teacher but this is not all. GEOS Vancouver School is a little school, so after a while, all the students are like a big (and international) family and I started to go out and visit the city. I made here really good friends that I will never forget and that I will miss a lot, of course. Thanks for all these great moments! Julieta. Julieta Norambuena Switzerland |
