Before coming here, I was so nervous and worried about how this experience, the GEOS teachers and classes would be. However, now I am happy with myself because of my improvement in regards to speaking English. it was biggest challenge for me and I achieved.
also, I have met a lot of friends from different countries around the world such as Japan, korea, Spain, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, India, Turkey, Colombia, Peru, Philippines, etc. therefore, it has been amazing. I have shaved unbelievable and unforgettable moments that I'm sure I will never forget. moreover, I have acquired knowledge about life; I have learned other ways to live in Canada there are many people from different places in the world and you can learn about their culture, table manners, behaviour, customs, food, work, entertainment, etc.
For all these reasons, you must come here and be a witness of the beautiful, scenery and sightseeing that Vancouver has!

When I arrived in Vancouver, I was worried about a lot of things, especially English. But my teacher was very caring and looked after the students well. They provided a good atmosphere to learn English. Vancouver has a little but of everything; Mountains. Ocean, country side and busy downtown, It is a great place.
I hope you will consider coming to Vancouver to study English!

Being in Vancouver is a great experience. GEOS it is not a school only, it's a place where you meet new people from all over the world and learn new cultures.

I'm Anaid from Mexico, I have 18 years old, I been in GEOS Vancouver for 3 months, in this school you always feel comfortable, GEOS Vancouver staff always take care for me, the instillations are good, and the environment is so good too. My first class here was ESL level 3, then I passed to level 4 and for the last I Tooke TEC (teaching English for Children) class, in all the classes, now I have an unforgettable experience.
The TEC class is very different than the classic classes, this is the best class I toke in my life, because the class is so fun, every day you can smile but in the same time you learn a lot of tricks and very easy, SEAN it's a great teacher, you should try this experience.

I had a great time and unforgettable at the wonderful GEOS School. The school system is so awesome, the teachers are so great and concentrate to teaching, also gave me a lot of help, they're easy to approach and I feel comfortable asking them anything and everything about studying. The lesson is so fun; I really love this school's system. Besides of studying that I got a diploma, I still got more experience about taking care of myself in another country, learned a lot from the new culture that I've never seen before, also I met lots of new friends from all over the world - it felt like a huge family! Every school activities made the good relationship for students and all the fantastic memories that you cannot buy from any place in this world, you have to come and experience it your self, so come to improve your English like me!

When I came to Vancouver I was confused but when the days passed by I felt GEOS was like home because everyone is friendly and teachers are awesome!
Now I can communicate in English with my new friends from all over the world and planning to go to The University in Canada soon!
Vancouver city is the best place I've been in the world, so the best way to know more about Vancouver is to visit it!!

I stayed here only for three weeks, and I think that next time I would stay here more.
I improved my English I think, even if I spoke less than I could. I liked my school friends and above all my teachers, they are very intelligent, and I learned a lot from them.
Here in Vancouver I lived with my cousins. I visit some places with them and I walked around alone for shopping or something else. I liked Vancouver, its landscapes and people.
I think I will provably return here and I will stay more days!

I am David Isa, 21 years old mechanical engineering student from Argentina, South America. As I know how important it is and it will be for my career to have a great command of the English language I made the decision of coming to Vancouver to study. I am so happy that I have made a very good choice as I discovered in Vancouver a wonderful city, very nice people and meet many, many friends from all over the world.
Studying is only part of my numerous activities that I made here thanks to GEOS Vancouver. I had the chance to visit the aquarium, museums, and jockey and football stadiums, to taste varied foods from many different countries. I moved to Vancouver from Costa Rica in 2007 because I got married to a Canadian woman, I started at GEOS Vancouver in September 2007. My first time was a good experience with the GEOS staff, the teachers are really friendly. I made good friends at GEOS Vancouver. There are different cultures and countries I studied fro 5 months at GEOS Vancouver.
I lived in Costa Rica from February until august 2008. I have returned to GEOS Vancouver because I have to continue to learn English, I think GEOS Vancouver is really a good school.

Hi, my English name is GIGI I'm Korean now I live in Vancouver Canada. I have been at GEOS for 6 months as a student, GEOS is a really good international school to learn English when I took my first class in GEOS my English skill was not good and I was very afraid of speaking English but in the class my teachers help me a lot and they were hard working for students. If you study with us you can improve your English skills much more than you think, because we have many international students it can be good experience for you.
I really like our teachers, friends and classes, I love GEOS!

GEOS Vancouver is a such a good school, I've felt so good in here, I have improved a lot my English and I recommend this school because they have skilled teachers and it's very nice the methods they use to teach.

Hi, my name is Julieta. I'm from Switzerland and I'm 19 years old. I've been here since three months ago and I'm really sad to leave Vancouver and the GEOS Vancouver School. When I came here, I didn't speak English because I haven't learned it at school before. I was kind of afraid to discover another country alone and without speaking the language... But everyone was friendly and very patient with me. I really enjoyed my TOEFL class and my TOEFL teacher but this is not all. GEOS Vancouver School is a little school, so after a while, all the students are like a big (and international) family and I started to go out and visit the city. I made here really good friends that I will never forget and that I will miss a lot, of course. Thanks for all these great moments!

when I was in Colombia and I was thinking about to study other language in other country, I thought that this experience will be good but when I arrived here that day started this dream and really don't want to wake up of this dream because everything have been nice, this experience it's wonderful, as a result I met nice new people. People who have help me with everything.

My main objective to come to Canada was to improve my English skills for my job. I was a student at GEOS Vancouver for 8 weeks and it was an amazing and enriching experience. I found very wonderful classmates from everywhere (Japan, Korea, Mexico, Colombia,) also; I found high quality teachers and very nice staff. They always helped me in everything that I needed. I thank them because I have achieved my objective and my English has improved.
There is a really friendly atmosphere in the school, so I felt I was at home. It has been an experience I would like to repeat.

I have spent two amazing months in Vancouver, which has given me many experiences. A lot of new friends, fun and shopping =)
I also got to know Canadian culture, their lifestyle and unforgettable serve of humour. It was a pleasure for me to learn at GEOS, there was no class without laughter, almost like a party =)

This time last year I decided to come here. My purpose was to improve my English skill and get a good score of TOEIC for job hunting.
Thank you good teachers, I was able to get a satisfactory score and improve my conversation ability not only that but I could get a lot of friends as well. Talking about other countries' cultures and customs with them was really interesting and that widened my horizons, I was able to get a lot of valuable experience in Vancouver in this last 6 months.

AWESOME is the word, I would like to use to define my experience in GEOS Vancouver, in Vancouver city, and in my internship. I have had one of my best experiences studying English in GEOS Vancouver; I feel I have a new family now and new language to speak with. Cannot express how good job they did to get for my internship and how much my English improved working in a Canadian ambience.
The internship has been the next step to the school studies, and something that I would suggest to everybody. I have had chance to get involved in the Canadian culture and learn about it while I met many good friends that I'll keep for ever.
Vancouver is one of the most multicultural cities I have ever been, which gave my chance to try dishes from all the countries. Coming from a small country as I do, I was interested in a city in which I could have the chance to be in touch with the nature as well as with the things that all the big cities have. Whales, seals, eagles, amazing rivers, beaches, ski, etc. Who gives more???

Hi my name is Zeus; I'm from Spain, the Canary Islands. I have studied in GEOS Vancouver for 3 months. GEOS Vancouver is incredible, the teachers are competent and there are so many interesting programs for learning English easily, another thing that I love about the school is the people, GEOS Vancouver is a middle-sized school, so we are like a family with very friendly staff.
If you want to learn and have a great time, then GEOS Vancouver must be your choice.

What should I say about Geos and Vancouver ? It's really worthy to come here. I've been travelling around the world and going to Geos Schools for another countries, but this one had something special.I don't if it was the people who was there, the staff, the city or just a join of all of those factors.
Learning English surrounded for this ambient helps students to improve and makes them to be willing to learn. In my personal xperience, I took TOEFL class, I though it would be a nightmare taking tests everyday, but it wasn't like this. The classes were so comfortable, and the atmosphere that we created there was so kind and special.
I don't even know all the members of the staff, but most of them seem to be so nice and friendly. That helps to the students, who are away from home for a short or long season to feel like in home.
Geos offers also a lot of differents activities to do during the week. Furthermore, you're able to book a trip at the school. It is worthy, not so expensive, and if you do the trip with your friends, for sure you'll enjoy !!
Just finishing this, say that Vancouver is a nice city, with loads of differents places inside, metropolitan, different cultures and people from around the whole planet. That give to the city and special thing that is difficult to explain, you must live here to see it.
I see it difficult to come back to Vancouver, because I want to keep travelling, and I hope that my following destiny would be Geos South Africa, who knows ? But for sure I won't forget all of you. THANKS !!!!
